My primary field of interest is algorithms and Bioinformatics.
Currently, I am working in Dr. Shannon Schlueter's lab on transcription start sites incorporating chromatin information. It is focused on plants, specifically Glycine max (Soybean).
During the summer of 2009, I was working at NCRC. I created an online Blueberry annotation database [ annotation database [link]. Also, I worked on IGB.
As of Spring of 2009, I started my PhD studies in Bioinformatics at UNCC. I worked on CDF/CEL file processing as well as Miner project in my first semester.
